community members examine map at Meadoway public information centreToronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) is hosting the second Public Information Centre (PIC) for The Meadoway Class EA. Please join us to learn more about the project and provide your feedback.

TRCA is undertaking a Class EA in order to facilitate the creation of a multi-use trail network within the hydro corridor. The proposed trail will facilitate a direct active transportation connection between downtown Toronto and Rouge National Urban Park.

The Meadoway is in Phase 2 of the Class EA process, in which a range of potential multi-use trail alignments have been identified and now will be evaluated to select a preferred route.

This is the second of three PICs planned for the project. At this stage of the project we will be seeking your input on:

  • Preliminary evaluation of the alternative trail alignments
  • Proposed preferred trail alignment
  • The visualization toolkit
