Learn all about Toronto’s biggest new park and what you can do to help create it.

Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and partners are working to convert an underused hydro corridor into a flourishing natural meadow. When it is completed, a-16 km stretch of naturalized park will connect downtown Toronto to Rouge National Urban Park.

In this workshop, the TRCA will explain why The Meadoway matters and how it will enhance the landscape for people, plants, and animals!

Learn about this exciting project in a hands-on way – from monitoring wildlife to planting native plants.

Free program. For more information, please contact the Higland Creek library branch.
